KarstenOct 6, 2023"It's okay, it happened a long time ago." "Yeah, I don't think that matters." devastatingly life affirming. we're all we've got.

paul mescal licks cum off andrew scott's chest
untitledversesNov 24, 2023if i had a nickel for every time paul mescal gets a clubbing montage and a tragic ending in a single film, i'd have two nickels - which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice

feels like i watched a completely different movie from everyone else. this just was plain boring. no plot, no impactful characters, and honestly a bit predictable. some things needed to be explored much better, everything was just confusingly put together. 4.5/10
WHERE TO EVEN BEGIN?!??!?? This film absolutely floored me, I was in awe throughout and I have never seen a film that spoke and resonated with me as much as this one. I highly anticipated this one and it exceeded my expectations and then some. A beautiful beautiful film.
It took me so long to get why the parents were younger then andrew or get anything about this movie tbh. It felt like it was focusing on being artsy rather then being just interesting. I wanted to love this sooo bad and it just didn’t do it for me. Couldn’t be more disappointed.

Watched 01/06 in theaters: beautiful tragedy, Andrew Scott and Paul Mescal’s performances were amazing and so were Foy’s and Bell’s. Overall an emotionally heavy film, but brightened by the love that was shared between all parties. Would love to rewatch it for the same feelings.
I wanted to enjoy this but the minimal dialogue, insanely long shots of walking, unsettling close ups, and dragged out pacing left me disappointed. The insanely sad diner scene is the only part that I’ll remember. The ending was interesting but not surprising
i wanted to like this but i just didn’t 😭 at the meta-level of this film, i think the effectiveness falls apart because mere constructions of individuals are only generating opinions or dispositions based on information the conjurer has access to. great intimacy exploration tho.
