Loved the plot twist, it was authentic New York in my opinion , really got to see some raw good acting , way to go Teyana Taylor
Enjoyed the acting but I couldn’t get with the story line.. don’t know what it was/is.
Great movie. A bit disappointing in the ending though. Maybe it will be a part two?
This movie was very good. The twist at the end was a game changer🤔
Teyana Taylor did an amazing job but for 2 hours I wanted more.
I really enjoyed this movie 🎥 🍿. The acting was on point 👍🏾. Very surprised 😮 ending .
This movie was okay for it to be two hours. I really loved the plot twist but other than that, I couldn't really understand the story. It's like there was a lot missing.
I love the movie
Great movie and cast!
Teyana Taylor had an Oscar worthy performance
good movie just could have put a Lil more into the ending.
Loved this and I’m a huge Teyana fan! I just wish they would have included extras or a snippet to where the main characters ended up.
Was truly touched by the cast and the raw emotions they displayed. It’s a film you can actually feel.
Not your typical love story but it is indeed about love after you dig into the surface. Smart film.

A Thousand and One is rich and complex overall, the saga of someone battling to build a family and a stable home with no real experience of what that looks like.
As the film moves further and further from its inciting secret, watching Inez and her son age, it fades beneath their countless tone-shifting hardships—revealing a film stronger when its close-shot realism is echoed in the script.
First-time feature director A.V. Rockwell, working from her own script, tells an epic tale in miniature.
