SilentDawnPart of Hoop-Tober “I’ll always be with you.” In close-up, a man washes his hands carefully and repeatedly. His hands do not appear dirty. He has not, so far as we can tell, just used the toilet, nor is he preparing to eat or to engage in some practice necessitating…

vague spoiler warning i do not think the scene where all three characters get their periods at once is a throwaway. curiously, it's one of the bloodier moments of the film: the specks of blood on the bed are given the same weight as the tears on a nightgown when an…
kaileyMar 16, 2016"Do you know what's really scary? You want to forget something. Totally wipe it off your mind. But you never can." 1. Watching this before bed was a mistake. 2. I THINK I know what happened in this film, but I need to see it again to be sure. 3. This film is amazing on…

I was so confused and I watched it with no subtitles so I didn’t have a clue what was being said. But it was eerie at times and really made you think of what’s happening next. There’s also stuff you’d never expect. Overall good film. 6/10 ⭐️
I thought I pinpointed what was happening, then more twists were thrown at me, and now I'm all confused. I liked the unsettling atmosphere this provides, and the first scare scene in the bedroom was definitely the creepiest for me.

It’s a confusing plot, if it was less confusing I think I’d have liked it even more, but it’s still great. I don’t usually like slow movies but this one kept me engaged the whole time.
Things were a little too disjointed for my taste. I followed the overall plot, but certain things were dwelled on too much and others weren't fleshed out enough.

i feel like so much happened with minimal explanation.. it was still a good film though. pretty thought provoking and even kinda sad
A slow burning art house horror movie. If you don’t like A24 horror movies, you definitely won’t like this one.
