After this film ended and I shook my head in disbelief at what I had watched and that the film even got made in the first place, I decided to look up who directed it and who produced it. Directed by Jordan Scott, the daughter of Ridley Scott, who also produced. It all makes…

I like how the Netflix subtitles kept saying "intriguing music plays" Dawg, not a single second of this was intriguing, who are you lying to?

Honestly,l wanted to like this film but it really seems like a sinister attack on activists and environmentalists. Nice to see Eric Bana again after so long but that's about it.

While A Sacrifice‘s third act may be a bit too silly for its own good, the pervasive feeling of dread will linger on long after the credits roll.

The first two-thirds of A Sacrifice are a largely leaden affair that offers viewers little that they haven’t seen before. It isn’t even awful so much as it is intensely forgettable—the kind of film whose title eludes you even as you watch it.

The result is a movie that ultimately falls short on both suspense and ideas, though it remains watchable enough.
