The Last of Us meets Signs.

Great to see in surround sound but overall the movie was a B- for plot holes and irritating situations that could have been prevented. In a world where silence is key to survival, why would people continue to have children?!?!

Definitely a must see, it pulls at your heart strings while clenching your cheeks and hoping they survive. Great movie

The ending could’ve been better

I loved this movie! So many smart scenes and I was on the edge of my seat the whole time! Greatly paced and despite barely having lines, the movie was very entertaining!

The movie was great but the intensity from the jump scares, the anxiety from the off brand demagorgons (stranger things), and the main characters struggles to survive made the movie enjoyable

Great film. Loved it. Wish it was a little longer, but it was beautifully done. Great attention to sound. Emily Blunt makes you feel her pain quite beautifully. Terrific job by John Krasinski. Would love to see a prequel to this.

Terrible movie. Waste of time and money

Uncomfortable watching experiencing being forced to remain quieter than usual in the theater during a typical movie. This isn’t your typical movie though and I feel it’ll ultimately be enjoyed more as an at home viewing experience. Original concept and intense film, but rather predictable and has an unfortunate and unfitting cheesy ending.

Wish i could give it 0 stars. What are these ugly ear demogorgons from stranger things doing in this movie. also so many plot flaws i swear to god. the movie would be more successful in an ASL reel. no plot also.

I didn't like that there was no dialogue for the most part of the movie. I didn't think it was original. The scariest part was the nail scene. I would not recommend this movie to be watched in theaters. Maybe at home.

You can tell someone thought of the plot on drugs and the creatures are hideous . It's the quietest movie and the loudest movie you will ever watch. It's original and that's enough to get at least 3 stars these days. Great acting, pretty intense action.

I have no idea why this movie got such great reviews. There's absolutely no back story and no final result at the end. Why show day counts like they mean something during the film, when they actually mean nothing? There was just no point to this movie in my opinion. If you haven't seen it yet, save your money for Redbox when it comes out.

I like the movie, The ending was good but, I which they would’ve gone more in depth with the origin of the creatures. Somethings didn’t make sense I.e. when the creature was upstairs after the baby was brought downstairs for the first time after the mother gave birth and the only thing between them was a mattress. As you can see when the father came up every thing was torn up but the creature somehow managed not to step on the flimsy mattress and fall through.

Already planning to see it a second time!

I really enjoyed this movie and I'm glad I watched it. What I really appreciate is the idea being different from usual movies. Having so little audible dialogue put the film creators and actors into a challenging position. They had to substitute it with a good score and good acting, both of which were done well. John Krasinski especially gave such a convincing performance. They also had a common situation that made it crazy impossible to stay silent, which I thought was creative. In addition, this movie wasn't just horror/etc, it was also emotional/heartfelt and poignant. I think this is a high quality film. --- possible spoiler --- - - - - - - - - - However, what disappointed me was that we don't find out the backstory of how the monsters came to exist. We're only given a hint of the chaos they caused before most of humanity was wiped out, which made me really want to see that be part of the movie.

It was #Great and have me waiting to see part 2 soon.

This movie was very slow and boring. There was too much time between action scenes. I found myself looking at my watch wondering when it would be over. The last 10mins or so was pretty good. Other than that I was not impressed.

I kept hearing great reviews about this movie, and it was nothing like anyone described it!! BORING MOVIE! NO ACTION ! I don’t understand why it’s getting a huge hype when it’s boring. I was expecting jump scares or a story behind there reasoning to be quiet, but no, they were just telling each other to stay quiet or else the monsters would appear. THE WHOLE MOVIE WAS THEM TELLING EACH OTHER TO BE QUIET OR USING SIGN LANGUAGE. Stare at a wall if you want better entertainment.

I was expecting more from this movie. It was good but it left me wanting more and ended in a way that left me irritated.

Great intense movie. I noticed I was keeping quiet and holding my breath with the characters which means the movie did a great job at putting you in the moment.
