This movie was so pointless. “Day One” should mean we get an idea of who the creatures are, where they are from and why they’ve decided to destroy mankind. We got none of that. We got a story of two people trying to survive an attack and keep quiet. We’ve seen that before. Twice! Remember the other two movies? What a waste of time and money. And the random splash of a character from one of the other movies was unnecessary for this wack story. WAIT TO SEE IT FOR FREE ON TV!!! The cat was the best part. Kudos to the cat!

just a monster movie that does nothing to really add to the story. some entertaining parts but my overall reaction was, eh, ok

The movie was a dud. It did not answer and “day 1” questions we all had from the first two movies. It was two new characters trying to survive the aliens that did not tie into either of the other movies.

don’t listen to these negative reviews everybody is tryna act so hard like a movie critic, you’ll cry laugh and hold your face in suspense, hands down the best horror movie in a while and lives up to the franchise/expectations, don’t wait to see it on tv go to the movies right now

Perfect amount of suspense and intensity. Loved that Lupita really expressed every emotion in this movie. She’s such a great actress to watch.

good movie, have u jumpy and mad at the same time, would be a 5 star movie if it was longer and didn't rush the invasion.

The storyline felt a bit thin, especially since it didn't provide much insight into how the aliens arrived on Earth or their true motives Overall, it’s a watchable movie , but it could've been much better

It had a great story line and see the monster up close. I would like to know what they were eating in one of the scenes and will that call for another chapter of Quiet Place?

I was wondering what they were gonna do next when I first heard of a new ‘A Quiet Place’ movie coming out. Even with a new cast, I really enjoyed it. It was a great cast actually. Even though I knew what to expect (the aliens, the silence), the play out still felt fresh and original. I went into this with high hopes and excitement, just because the previous AQP movies were so good. I am happy to say that those hopes were met. I would absolutely recommend this movie to those who have seen the previous ones and those who haven’t!

Very suspenseful. Enjoyed every minute of it. The cast was great! If you liked the first ones then this one is a no brainer.

Cinematography is great. Not as great as the first two imo, but still emotional and a great story + terrifying.

Nyong’o, Hounsou, Quinn and Wolff win our pity, our empathy and our respect as these New Yorkers face their fates at the beginning of a global nightmare which no one can see through, see past or realistically expect to survive. They make “Day One” both engrossing, and a great argument for why this “franchise” has said what it has to say and thus is ready to take its final bow.
