So not a fan of folk music or Bob Dylan so perhaps I had a different perspective on it. I learned a lot about how folk music grew during the time it did; the people that played a part in its growth; the artists that had an effect on its changes; how Bob Dylan played an important part but not in the way everyone imagined. When he continued his musical path and became a “name” he gave folk music a chance they didn’t see. How many people outside of those folk fans would have learned about folk music had he not evolved in his music? Those that became his new fans and wanted to learn more about his music had the chance to learn about his impact on folk music and what folk musics role was in history. So I liked the movie because I learned about a genre that may not be so big. I am still not a fan of either but I definitely respect its role in history.
How does it feel, how does it feel? To be without a home Like a complete unknown, like a rolling stone 🎙🎸

Two hours off pure beauty I will go Back very soon .
I’m in my 70’s but now have a teen crush on Timothee Chalamet
Amazing. Cast is phenomenal especially Timothy Chalamet and Edward Norton. Oscar performances for sure. Inspiring and emotional seeing the story.
Great show, moving from the beginning. I can see criticisms from a shallower story, but this is more a Bob Dylan love letter. Great fun.
we all really enjoyed this. You forget what was happening during that time and it was fascinating how he interpreted it in his music.
It was really hard for me to fathom the drama involved because one man decided to pick up an electric guitar and not an acoustic. Such a quaint story arc in this day and age.
Truly stunning portrayal of the early years of Dylan by Timothy. Timothy’s vocal and instrumental performances were much better than I thought possible. Loved the thread of scenes with Woody Guthrie as he was wasting away in an asylum. Bob Dylan is a very complicated subject and it is really not possible to provide a fully accurate and satisfying picture of Bob, the music scene, the many personalities and the zeitgeist of the times. However this film makes an heroic effort to do all of that. The film does it all well.
Not very plot- or character-driven. Meaning, there is not a lot of emotion involvement. Most of it comes from the content of the music. But it's kind of fun. And did I mention the music?
I was looking for more of a backstory of his life rather than just how his musical career evolved...the score was gr8 and they had an amazing cast...songs were also spot on
Ok
Very good and entertaining movie. Takes you back to your youth.

So, just know that A Complete Unknown comes off as really boring throughout. None of this will stop Chalamet from shining out with the ultimate movie Dylan. It is a tousled hair masterwork of a performance, completely adapting the essence of Dylan to a folk music Batman.
A Complete Unknown doesn’t attempt to offer up a solution to the enigma that is Bob Dylan. It does something more achievable — shows us what it’s like to bob around the wake of greatness.
