Synopsis

As a person who is not a Bob Dylan fan and doesn’t listen to his music I still loved this film. Despite not knowing much about him or his music I still really appreciated this film. Terrific film.

Hamilto is "meh" onA Complete UnknownI loved the music and I thought it was generally entertaining but for a 2:20 movie I thought it gave a pretty surface level look at Dylan’s life and motivations. Climax at the festival was a bit weak and I think the extras were even confused about how to act.

So, just know that A Complete Unknown comes off as really boring throughout. None of this will stop Chalamet from shining out with the ultimate movie Dylan. It is a tousled hair masterwork of a performance, completely adapting the essence of Dylan to a folk music Batman.

A Complete Unknown doesn’t attempt to offer up a solution to the enigma that is Bob Dylan. It does something more achievable — shows us what it’s like to bob around the wake of greatness.
