Atom Tickets Announces Partnerships With Emagine Entertainment And Kerasotes Showplace Theatres

LAKE GENEVA, Wis., Sept. 14, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Atom Tickets, the first-of-its-kind mobile movie ticketing platform, today announced the addition of Kerasotes Showplace Theatres and Emagine Entertainment, expanding the availability of the innovative ticketing service in the Midwestern United States. These exhibitors join an impressive list of growing theatre partners that already includes Regal Cinemas, AMC Theatres, and Studio Movie Grill. Atom Tickets will be activated at Kerasotes Theatres and Emagine Entertainment by the end of October.

With an aggressive regional roll out across the U.S. underway, Atom Tickets continues to reach new users with its unparalleled ticketing service. Atom enables exhibitor partners to maximize their revenue streams by utilizing the app's social invitation features and pre-ordering of tickets and concessions to draw larger audiences and increase ticket sales.

"We're thrilled to partner with Kerasotes Showplace Theatres and Emagine Entertainment," said Matthew Bakal, Atom Tickets co-founder and Executive Chairman. "Both circuits provide top notch cinematic experiences, and the Atom platform will further enhance the guest convenience by providing a modern way to go to the movies."

Atom makes it easy for moviegoers to check reviews and showtimes, to coordinate movie outings amongst friends, and to each pay separately. The innovative app allows users to pre-pay for concession items with just a few taps. Atom Tickets makes the entire movie-going experience faster, easier, and more social than ever – providing a VIP experience that lets users bypass lines for tickets and concessions.

"Emagine has long been a leader in the adoption of state-of-the-art technology. Partnering with Atom Tickets expands and reinforces our commitment to providing guests with cutting technology that enhances the movie-going experience," says Paul Glantz, founder and chairman.

"We couldn't be happier to partner with Atom Tickets," said Tony Kerasotes, Chairman and CEO of Kerasotes Showplace Theatres. "We see the technology as adding value to the movie-going experience, making this a win for us and most importantly, for our guests."

How it Works:

Atom Tickets re-imagines the most convenient way for users to plan a night out at the movies. Available for free on the Apple App Store and Google Play, the app provides relevant reviews, trailers and synopses to help customers make the best decision on what to see. Moviegoers may then invite friends (via Facebook or their contact lists) to purchase their own tickets to join them. Atom Tickets enables seamless ordering of tickets and concessions from any Android or iOS phone. At the theater, consumers go directly to the ushers and concession counters, where they simply scan a QR code at tablet kiosks. Paper tickets and IOUs have been replaced by Atom's innovative platform, which keeps all plans, messaging, payment and tickets in one place.
