It was going to be a love because I was definitely kicking my feet and smiling but the ending of whether or not the monster ever “existed” gave me a sour taste in my mouth. Felt like the last hour was all fake, felt like a cop out ending. Before that though I enjoyed it 6/10 🩸

I’m not big on endings that are up for interpretation, I just prefer having something that completes the story.

Melissa Barrera is a phenomenal actor. Storyline & ending in particular have interesting implications & symbolism.

Whatever “charms” it reached for vanish for the attempted over-the-top finale, which left me cold and didn’t come close to making the sale about the “Embrace your inner rage” spin this is allegedly about.
