Anyone who doesn't shed a tear during this movie just isn't human. No pulse at all.
This movie brings you back to your childhood and brings back all the feelings you thought you lost growing up!!!!
you owe it to yourself to see this movie
This movie should be required viewing everywhere. The lessons we haven't learned as a country, as believers in a higher power, and for our own worth are held right here!
I loved him then and even more now....
Bring Kleenex..it is what we need during this time.
Wonderful story about a wonderful man. If you grew up watching Mr. Rogers you will appreciate knowing his story.
A beautiful movie that can’t really be put into words. Highly recommend!
Lots of nostalgia. Mister Rogers still inspires me to be a better person!
Great movie! Learned so much and left the theater with that good feeling.
Mr. Rogers preached a lost message- “I love you just the way you are.”
Didn't like the agenda for the gay and lesbian lifestyle. Could have left that out.
I grew up with Mr. Rogers. This is a must see for anyone who loved him as a child.
Fred Rogers left a mark on all of us. We all deserve to be loved
This film truly is a must-see movie. A heartwarming family film that will leave you feeling empowered, loved, and inspired to offer the world the very best version of yourself. Now more than ever we need films like this to remind us of the responsibility we have as God's children, which is to love our neighbor as we love ourselves.
Great movie must see
I wish there were more people in the world like Mr. Rogers. A true follower of the golden rule, this is a must see.
Leaves me wishing we as a society could replace all tv programming with constant repeats of Mr Rogers hoping it would cause a widespread movement away from today’s horrible climate and toward of real love for all humans!
Beautiful! Must see with the whole family. A great man who inspired so many people.
The world would be a better place if everyone grew up watching Mr. Rogers. I can't begin to describe how wonderful this movie is.
It was simply wonderful and nostalgic
A must see. A reminder in this world to love. it's all about love, patience, and understanding.
Very informative movie. Highly recommended. A look back at a great show and a great person.
Couldn’t be more relevant.
If you were a fan of Mister Rogers' Neighborhood growing up, this film is a must-see. You will get all the nostalgic feels and then some. I shed a few tears while watching it (no shame).
This movie reminds us that love is the only thing that truly matters in this world.
Fascinating look at a remarkable man. Learned a great deal. Only negative is I wish the would have show a little more off the absurd criticism aimed at his philosophy and refuted it.
It will make you feel like a child again.
very powerful, especially now when everyone is so cynical.
A truly inspiring film. The world needs more Fred Roger's. His message of love is needed more today than ever.
My friend and I are teachers. We saw it together today and cried out way through it. We think EVERY teacher should watch this right before every school year starts. I will always be thinking WWMRD all year.
I highly recommend everyone to watch this film
This is one of the most inspiring movies I have ever seen. Now more than ever we need a man like Fred Rogers.
I laughed and cried. It was awesome. Go see it!! He was such an amazing man.
Such a wonderful film! Showed how Mister Rogers was a wonderful man who impacted children and even adults lives
sweet
Loved it! I cried within the first five minutes! It was nostalgic for me, since I saw the show when it first came on PBS! Mr. Roger’s Neighborhood was one of my all time favorite kid shows that I continued to watch as an adult. When my son was little, I had him watch it, too.
What a great man a life to be proud of, thanks for being part of my childhood! The good part!
The world needs more people like Fred Rogers.
A kind, warm hearted story about a man whose low budget children's show taught values / ideas that were the bedrock of a caring society then and are sorely missed now. Tertific!
Metacritic
The film is touching, sometimes saccharine, and other times bluntly honest, but it works best as a fascinating reminder that Rogers was trying to be more than a mascot of American politeness.
Neville has created a film that operates both as a dewy-eyed nostalgia trip and stirring appeal for civility.
The primary fascination of Won’t You Be My Neighbor? lives when it stands outside this man and stares at him, unfathomably, wondering what in the world must have made him tick. The film tries to do more than that, with varying levels of success, but that’s the core: Who is this guy?
