Simply a great movie.......dont bother with Tim Burtons version......only plus is Freddie Highmore.......this original rules!!
It was wonderful to see it on the big screen again. The video and audio were very well cleaned up and really great. And I have a major crush on Gene Wilder. 😉

Gene Wilder gives one of the most iconic performances in the history of the movies. It was fantastic to see this film once again on a big screen. A wonderful experience, and a great film.

For a children's film, Willy Wonka is surprisingly malevolent, which is most of its fun. But the refreshing malice and twisted whimsy only kick into high gear after 45 minutes of plodding setup and film-padding songs.
