can't wait for part 2.
This is a great adaptation of the musical and the book. The story is not rushed and allowed for more overall development. The FX was magical and the singing, acting, and dancing was fantastic.
It was worth the wait. I cried for the majority of the film… all happy tears! Thank you for staying true to the original musical.
OH MY GOD. OH MY GOD
Very boring , poor graphic
This movie was well worth the wait, it looked stunning and the cast was great. The musical numbers are perfect and touching. I will definitely be seeing it again.
very true to the musical and yet it has it's own charm and uniqueness to it. amazing
Absolutely amazing! I was near tears and got goosebumps!
Wonderful can't wait for part two
So excited to see part 2 next year!
11/10 🙌🏻
10/10 with no notes! I will be watching this again and I anxiously await Part 2!!
just long for a kids movie
We couldn’t stop talking about it! Great family movie and the main characters were exemplary !
Sooo good
This was an amazing heartwarming film that embody the story
Just WOW! Awesome Movie
Totally worth it! Well done!
Still in shock from how amazing it was! Already planning to watch it again!
Excellent movie!!
This is what cinema is.
Haven’t seen a movie this good in a while!
Me and the wife loved it
Was magical from start to finish
This is the must see movie of the year! The thematic elements and technology is back by a strong cast. The additional scenes are a plus without detracting from the original musical. Definitely a movie with all the feels. Don't miss it!
Had me crying all the happy tears. I had seen this on stage and I was blown away by the broadway musical. BUT THIS…this movie did the broadway musical so proud. Cynthia and Ariana really embodied the characters of Elphaba and Glinda so incredibly well. The sets were so cool! I loved how they created the Ozdust Ballroom and The Emerald City. The University and Glinda and Elphaba’s room were really detailed and I was very impressed. As we say in the south…they put their whole leg into this movie!! UP TO THE HIP!! 12/10!!!
SOOOOOOOOOOOO GOOD! worth the hype
Second time seeing it in early access and I loved it even more the second time.
Great story but way too much singing as well as Goldblum being a terrible choice for the Wizard role didn't hit the way I thought it would.
It was far better than I expected
If I could give more stars I would. PERFECTION.
I’m a sucker for the tale of Wicked. I went with family and had a great time.
The message, music, cast. Gold standard
Loved it!!!!
Long! Not for younger kids
Great movie and enjoyed the cast! The singing throughout the movie was amazing! I'd see it again and ready for part 2!!!
Amazing I cried soon as it started and didn't stop until the credits rolled
It was great, but a bit over the top at times. And it was way too long.
Amazing but also very long
Fantastic film 🥹👏🏻👏🏾👏🏿👏🏽🎶💖💚 definitely something worth watching again & again until part 2 releases. Loved it!
A good movie
So I seen this in college in 07 and man did this not disappoint my husband and I love every moment. Ariana and Cynthia are amazing witches!
Can't wait for part 2!!!! This was amazing, and the hours flew by. Highly recommend.
beautifully filmed, wonderful talent, a bit slow, but still engaging.
Found the first few hours boring and putting me to sleep. It picked up in the last 15 minutes.
Seriously I haven’t seen the Broadway show yet but after seeing this incredible movie I can’t wait to see it again and the Music is truly powerful and there’s going to be a part 2 wow
It was a good movie. Ariana Grande was perfect for that role.
I've seen better and worse. this is not worth 20 plus dollars. the performances aside, there is nothing new here. nice nods to broadway Divas... production value is amazing. the ending scene, almost perfect. will wait for streaming release for part 2.
damn. son.
Great cinematography and music, really entertaining
Metacritic
Near the end, though, “Wicked” does surge to a kind of life.
By the end, you won’t quite be levitating off your seat but you’ll definitely be enchanted enough to stream the soundtrack on the way home. Funny, colourful and full of empathy for outsiders, this film really is the Shiz.
The movie drags at times, evidence that the too-generous 160-minute running time adversely affects pacing without resulting in a better-defined, deeper storyline.
