This is the slowest of slow burns that becomes even more unbearable when you already know what’s going to happen having seen the original. But I think that’s also what makes it work. You sit there for up to 50 minutes just anxiously waiting for the line to come up. Great thrills.

Imagine the creepy phone call opening scene from Scream turned into an entire film. That’s what this is, it starts strong with suspense, but it doesn't evolve much beyond that. Slow pace. It’s a fine watch, but ultimately feels stretched out. Kinda just okay.

A narratively thin concept, but better executed than the original. We stay with Jill the whole time and she steps into a Laurie Strode-type role, though the calls lack menace and it plays it too safe. Still, fun for what it is. 6/10

I did like this but it wasn’t rly my thing yk,it took about an hour for something to happen and the movies only an hour and a half long , did get better in the end tho , glad she survived, sad her friend didn’t , 6/10

8% on rotten tomatoes is accurate haha. It was ehhhh. I was tense most the time waiting for the jump scares but they never really came. Also there was really no resolve in the end and the story was pretty boring :/

This movie was boring. Nothing really had me on the edge of my seat. No gore, Not many jumpscares, not much suspense, not many kills, and the plot was just boring. Just a mediocre stalker movie. 3/10

All these years later and this movie still does such a great job at building suspense. Wish it involved her ex and friends more or their older son. Still good regardless though
