Synopsis
In a future where the polar ice-caps have melted and Earth is almost entirely submerged, a mutated mariner fights starvation and outlaw "smokers," and reluctantly helps a woman and a young girl try to find dry land.

Not secretly great or anything but certainly not as terrible as legend would have it. Either way the production design, miniature effects, and stuntwork are completely unbelievable, and it takes serious suicidal audacity to try to shoot something of this scale on the open…

Mad Max: Cruise Control. Very broad and childish take on a George Miller action apocalypse but still an absolutely incredible feat of analog design work and open sea stunts and spectacle. Not really sure why it's 3 hours long tho lol.

Literally so good, I love the story so much and the actors are phenomenal. I think personally I really enjoyed it because I watched it with my best friends and her family so the movie has a personal connection to it. Overall a very good movie and super cool concept. Def recommend

James New likedWaterworldMoist Mad Max. It’s not very good, but it’s a decent bit of fun. Set pieces and the action are both pretty decent. Pacing really needs work, this should’ve been 100 minutes easily. I can see why it flopped despite having fun with it

Not much learned from this film. It was entertaining at least. A lot of plot holes but it is entertainment. Costner is perfect for this role no one could have done it better!!
Hank Jenkins is "meh" onWaterworldIt looks great and has ambition, but it feels very bland and was too slow, at least ‘Mad Max’ had gripping action in it and something to keep your attention for its runtime
