I love this movie so much. The animation is stunning and the score is so heart wrenching. It still makes me cry. I grew up on this movie and it’s still just as beautiful as it was when I first watched it. It’s a wonderful new perspective on life 10/10 watch it, it’s so underrated

Rosen goes out of his way to avoid Disney's stylized movements and character touches, but ends by making his characters all look, sound, and act alike—conditions hardly hospitable to dramatic involvement. The animation may be naturalistic, but the fallacy is as pathetic as ever.
