The billiards scene is absolutely electric. Hugo Armstrong is on fire absolutely in step with Sam Bullington, the power dynamic ever changing in a brilliant game within a game. And watch out for that cinematographer, he’s going places!

Truly a great time at the cinema, this was the sweetest film. I appreciate movies that are so intimate to the directors/writers personal experiences because, while also tackling the fundamental movie making they can almost make a love letter to the ones they care about…

Some really good acting in this. Made me think about how when we get old we really need good people taking care of us to allow us to enjoy whatever time we have left. I also enjoyed the opening credits of seeing older films that Young Robert was in.
