Synopsis
Tom and Gemma (Jesse Eisenberg and Imogen Poots) are looking for the perfect home. When a strange real-estate agent takes them to Yonder, a mysterious suburban neighborhood of identical houses, Tom and Gemma can't leave quick enough. But when they try to exit the labyrinth-like housing development, each road takes them back to where they started. Soon, they realize their search for a dream home has plunged them into a terrifying nightmare, in this taut thriller filled with white-knuckle suspense.

the worst part of this movie is that the second you see the kid, you know exactly how the story is going to end. and it takes another hour and twenty minutes to get there.

Great concept but an extremely disappointing execution.
kayl is "meh" onVivarium5/10 the acting was great, and the story was pretty good up until the end. but the reason its a meh is bc they needed to explain why they were stuck there in the first place and what that monster is. im not gonna rewatch bc its only decent if you dont know whats gonna happen. 🤷♀️
yani dislikedVivariumThere was just no rhyme or reason to anything, no backstory or explanation was given. They never had a chance at getting out. It felt like the entire movie was pointless and my first thought when it ended was “why did I watch this.” 3/10

Luke Buccellato is "meh" onVivariumthis movies concept is very good, but it fails to hit the mark on several levels. there are many parts in the movie where something great could happen with the tense situation, but it never really does. This movie is a big tease and it feels like you are never satisfied with it.

easton likedVivariumit was overall good, fairly slow, but the slowness definitely added onto the eeriness of the entire film. i think it’s a one-time watch type of movie primarily because it’s meant to be unpredictable. in the end i give it a 6/10
Urmom likedVivariumBased on brood parasitism- where it seems aliens leave their young with unwilling human couples. As time passes the alien begins to learn to mimic these humans and are then sent out into the world to bring new unsuspected parents in to repeat the process.
