I have been immortalized eating a chocolate-coated penis while white icing drips down my chin. I will quit acting now, for I have peaked.

I'm the co-writer/director of HOME HAUNT, along with my wife, Micheline Pitt-Norman. I thought I'd celebrate the release of V/H/S/HALLOWEEN by singing the praises of our anthology-mates, all of whom delivered a V/H/S installment that I couldn't be more proud to be a part…

kidprint is probably the most disturbing & stomach-turning segment this franchise has seen so far.. my jaw was on the floor the entire time.

I’ll always appreciate these movies for what they are, a good gateway into horror for young people and as an opportunity for emerging or established genre filmmakers to flex their creative voices on a small budget.  That being said, year after year, I find maybe two of…

The film I've been most eagerly awaiting this year ever since I found out this new entry would be a Halloween special. And what I can say upfront is that for me, this is the best V/H/S movie of the entire franchise. All six segments are obviously Halloween-themed and are…

Even with a bit of a dip in “Kidprint,” V/H/S/Halloween registers as one of the series’ strongest recent efforts, buoyed by the joyfully demented humor and explosive bloodletting of “Diet Phantasma,” “Fun Size” and “Home Haunt” in particular.

I don't know if I could rightfully say that this is the best V/H/S movie ever. V/H/S/2 would have something to say about that. But it absolutely continues the hot streak the series has been on. If they continue to be this good, the franchise could run forever and I'd be happy about it.

V/H/S/HALLOWEEN is one of the best entries in this now-annual anthology series because it feels the most tonally consistent (and has maybe the best batting average). Not only are most of the stories tied together with themes of Halloween, like urban legends, bowls of candy, and haunted houses, but they mostly have the same tone: a tongue-in-bloody-cheek sense of humor and willingness to go beyond perceived decorum.
