Struggling writer Lowen Ashleigh relocates to the remote Crawford estate to ghostwrite for Verity Crawford. After Lowen uncovers what appears to be Verity’s chilling autobiographical notes, she wrestles with the disturbing and twisted confessions about Verity’s husband Jeremy, and finds it hard to separate fiction from reality, manipulation from attraction, and opportunity from obsession.
0/10 no smiling yellow ball 😢
it should’ve just been anne hathaway and dakota johnson kissing and plotting to kill josh hartnett
Can’t tell if Colleen Hoover’s characters are supposed to act as if they are aliens pretending to be human or not
I’m not kidding, this movie ends on a Hot Ones Interview
So bad that it deserves to be a Netflix original ..
actually, everybody in the house needed therapy
gone girl from temu
Anne Hathaway is working overtime just to make Robert Pattinson look unemployed
Why did everyone have chapped lips?
The book was better tbh. I’m sad so many great and hair-raising scenes from the book weren’t included or were quite badly altered. Anne Hathaway was great tho.
the only reason i wouldnt put this movie in love is because i need a year to process and think before rewatching. but 7.8/10 also the call her daddy and hot ones cameos were so odd to me
so much missing 🥲💔
I had a ver-ity good time 🤓✌️ No but seriously this wasn’t as bad as I expected. All the reviews I had heard was that it’s the best of the Colleen Hoover adaptations, but that bar was already on the floor 😭. I thought the story was decent, the performances were all solid (especially Hathaway and…
This movie was incredible!!! It was really interesting and the plot is insaneeee. Do not watch it with your family though cause it’s not that type of movie, it’s got some dirty scenes there. It was really good I just wish they wouldn't show as much as they did in those scenes.
Not half bad. The concept, plot, and casting was pretty good but I felt it got a little lazy at the end. The movie built anticipation the whole movie and then end you’re just left unsatisfied and thinking, “is that it?” Rating: 5/10
It was just as bad as everyone said. Maybe if they cast it differently it would at least be okay. But Dakota Johnson really phoned it. And Josh was wildly miscast. But even so, the writing is just plain bad. Avoid it.
En vrai ça va ! Je trouve que ça été bien adapté meme si le lire est tjr meilleur mais au moins c'est pas comme d'autre adaptation.
Ending your dark, edgy, Neo gothic thriller with a Hot Ones interview is maybe not the best move?
The beginning was really slow and boring.
omg! so good
Book evokes more emotion than seeing it on screen
Pathetic
This movie was underwhelming to say the least.
NO STARS😫we left after about an hour after being completely bored. Love the actors but I see why Rotten Tomatoes gave it 33%.
Dakota Johnson is so boring
loved it,
Very interesting movie! It kept audiences hooked on every one of Verity’s words!
