Movie was great, jumped around a lot… the ending was terrible. Knull was useless. Tom Hardy has to come back as venom or this is a complete waste of time. They should’ve reunited and let venom see the Statue of Liberty. Horrible writing.

Watched in 3D and loved it! I'm not a comic book fan, so I can't speak on how it relates to the source material, but it was fast paced and entertaining.
Action and humor from beginning to end. Won’t disappoint.
I love venom
it was slow in the talking parts. I was lost in the plot, but it was still my favorite to come to the theaters to see. Maybe the next venom will be action-packed.

The result is another middling comic-book adventure for the fan-favorite Spider-Man antihero that leans kooky and earnest and even saps some of its title character’s bite, though does give the snarling Venom a new aspect: a big baddie daddy.
Why make a Venom movie (much less three of them) if the character will never get to meet Spider-Man? Beyond the fact that it is sort of fun to see Tom Hardy act like a weirdo, I don’t think Sony ever came up with a satisfying answer to that question.
Frustratingly, [Marcel's] movie maintains the issues of the first two films – ropey effects, muddy night-time action scenes, a determination to be family friendly at all times – and then undoes any goodwill its more successful components have inspired by including a mid-credits sting that renders the previous 109 minutes obsolete.
