It was ok there was a lot of monologues that were kinda forced about life
I will say that for this being his first time producing a film, BJ Novak did a great job with this movie. I never watched a trailer for this movie so I went in with low expectations but I loved this movie! I loved this rendition of crime solving using a podcaster (yes we know podcasting is overrated lol), but it was really good. I was surprised to see Ashton Kutcher and still an amazing actor since That 70s Show :) great movie and will watch again

While Vengeance doesn’t always rise to the level of its ambitions, it is admirable to see Novak spit acid towards the privilege systems that make careers like his possible...But by repeating the same reductive and representational mistakes of the media it so pointedly criticizes, Novak’s film unwittingly becomes yet another part of the problem.
In Vengeance, B.J. Novak proves a born storyteller with the rare gift of using a film to say something that intoxicates us.
The scattershot new media satire Vengeance might have been merely a toothless provocation replete with both-sides false equivalences were it not so well-scripted and well-directed on a scene-to-scene basis.
