I really wanted to like this more. Lauren LaVera is a wonderful leading lady and a true Scream Queen! I also loved seeing Alicia Witt, Mia Healey, and Gina Phillips. Djimon Hounsou was also great. This had a fun set up. But the plot kind of lost me right around the halfway…

The writers failed Bousman, lol. Dumb, predictable, and extremely derivative of superior horror thrillers (Don't Breathe or Saw, for example), but the cast is solid. Hounsou! Bald LaVera! Jeepers Creepers' Gina Phillips!

Although Djimon and Lauren are very talented actors, the content they’re given to work with is incredibly subpar. The story itself is pretty straightforward for a thriller, the detective plot line is forgettable, and although the soundtrack is okay, parts sound like stock audio

Scattershot: The actor who played the doctor did a great job, best part of the movie. Lauren Lavera is a great actress; unfortunately, the dialogue they gave her in this sucked. I liked the way the last 30ish minutes were shot. The two main character con artists sucked.
