Christian Slater as a fearless tough guy is as believable as Gary Oldman playing a racially confused Rastafarian pimp.

the actors on this film are just wow. from christopher walken to gary oldman and dennis hopper. everyone involved is amazing. gary oldman proves his range. though christian slater is a bit too attractive to play clarence he still delivers. loved it. only problem was tarantino's idea of love. but if…

Watched again recently on 4k Blu-ray. It really holds up. So many names it’s actually insane. A little rough around the edges. But it’s a fun ride.

it’s pretty l good and every single actor played their part perfectly I thought. The soundtrack was silly to me most of the time and I thought him going to kill her pimp immediately was a little questionable but besides that it’s a pretty solid movie. (7.8/10)

8/10 Absolutely stacked cast with so many great supporting characters that really only get a scene or two each to shine but still carry this movie. Tarantino’s script shines through with the majority of this movie feeling like a classic early Tarantino movie

One of my favorites though I don’t watch it enough. Stellar cast, some great lines, and just a fun movie. I may be jaded about love at my older age but this movie makes me smile. Written by Tarantino and directed by the late Tony Scott, must see!

9/10 Great film, cast and excellent script (as excepted from a 90’s Tarantino). Slightly annoying that the action scene are shot close up almost takes away the impact which I found in most Tony Scott films (unlike his brothers). Defo recommend.

The cast speaks for itself, no matter the budget, im surprised the production team had enough money to film after paying them all. Yet, all well deserved, phenomenal performances all around. Especially Oldman and Gandolfini… I NEEDED MORE!

You never forget you're watching a derivative, machine-tooled entertainment; the fun is in how the machine keeps spinning off course.

Amid the violence, the one-liners ring out. Nobody speaks for real. It's as if they all know they're in a movie.
