    The line from Hunt for Red October to this thing is a straight, plummeting arrow into the toilet. Incompetently shot, incoherently written, flatly acted. "Streaming content" really is a different, distinctly shittier form of entertainment than motion pictures.

    I’ll have to say that the ratings are a bit harsh, it’s a decent film, but it’s not amazing. For an action film, it’s a decent watch, and Michael B Jordan is great in the role, but the only complaint I have is the fact that it didn’t really feel like a Tom Clancy title. 7.4/10

    Super Action, vor allem die Flugzeug-/Unterwasserszene ist, wie ich finde, gut und realistisch gelungen. Der Twist, weshalb alles dazu kam, war unerwartet, bindet sich aber perfekt ein und hebt sich dadurch von typischem Actiongeballer ab. 3,3/5⭐️ (Prime Video) alleine geschaut.

All the slow-burning cinematography in the world can't disguise that Without Remorse is assembled almost entirely from creaky spy/action movie cliches.

While Sollima tries to rekindle Clancy’s 1990s magic, Without Remorse is rendered as unmemorable schlock due to his inability to map the author’s familiar espionage themes onto a new protagonist with very different story requirements.

Making it just a little bit smarter—taking out perhaps just one of its multiple, intelligence-insulting ending clichés—could make its plot simply boring rather than asinine, which would make the film dangerously forgettable, able to inflict 100-minute gaps into moviegoers’ memories at distances of up to 500 yards.
