viFeb 1, 2022*lady gaga voice* I don’t believe in the glorification of murder. I do believe in the empowerment of women.

"I think if you wanted a babysitter, you should marry Mary Poppins." one day, I will scam men just as Suzanne Stone taught me.

I liked the acting from everyone, young Joaquin phoenix did amazing. But I mostly felt bad for the kids, they were manipulated by her, everyone was pretty sick. Feel bad for the husband he just wanted a family. The plot twist at the end was good. Glad the dog didn’t die 6/10🐩

I was led to believe Nicole Kidman was going to be more psycho in this role. She's still amazing, but I was expecting a bit darker film. I'm just happy it wasn't a blind buy dud because Criterion 4K looks great as it always does.
7.0 This movie is told in a decently unique style which I found interesting. I found the movie pretty predictable but still entertaining. The characters were not particular compelling though which I felt hurt the story slightly

I love seeing a film and an actor really does a character. I felt like I knew who Susane stone was. Also, such a great ending and also WTF Danny Elfman doing the music??? soooo insane.
Incredible leading performance by Kidman, and a great supporting class, and that with a great script and creative and engaging filmmaking makes this an overall fantastic film
