Synopsis

    It made sense and didn't make any sense at the same time. Pretty slow in the beginning. I thought it was an interesting relationship between the two, the plot is simply murder. I think it would've been a great movie if It made more sense and the pacing was better.

    Don’t you love it when a casting director puts two power houses together? Olivia and Anya really were dynamite in this film. Both of them playing the part of a sociopath in different ways. It was interesting to see the progression of Anya’s character in particular.

    i give it an 8/10. love both actresses and they did such great jobs at portraying an odd yet intimate friendship of opposite teen girls. unexpected ending but happy with it nonetheless. it was one of those movies that i don’t think could of went any other way.

    Sometimes the story is difficult to follow but overall a some what enjoyable film. Odd for sure but Olivia Cooke and Ana Taylor Joy do a good job at playing this awkward tense weird friendship that is unpredictable at times.

    Reaaaallly interesting movie, I mean everyone describes it as American Psycho meets The Heathers. Both actresses were amazing in this film and it was hard for me to predict how this would end. Would definitely recommend.

    I really liked it this one. gaslit girl boss slay also LOVED the twist and how the characters sorta switched subtly in personality as the film went on,made for a really interesting dynamic

    Interesting film , great performances all around, I think the story was good but maybe should have had more to it , seemed to straight forward to me but was a surprising ending.

    It was okay. I read this was originally written to be a play instead of a movie. I think that would’ve worked better. I wish there was more buildup or background for the ending.

    The trailer is misleading. This is a very slow drama with no emotion. No highs and lows. Lack of detail and large story gaps where it counts. The main characters played their roles very well! They weren't supposed to have emotions. I understand that. But show some emotion…

Thoroughbreds has a brazenness that’s promising, then, even if it also seems to be a bit too taken with its characters’ amorality. The movie works hard to make your eyes open wide, but doesn’t seem to realize that a squinting introspection can have its own sort of edge.
