Synopsis
A.J. Finn’s best-selling novel becomes a movie from Atonement and Hanna director Joe Wright. Amy Adams stars as Anna Fox, an agoraphobic child psychologist who spends all her time at home watching movies, drinking — and checking out the neighbors. When she believes she witnesses a crime across the street, she’s left wondering what she really saw, and what to do about it.
This Rear Window-inspired tale co-stars Wyatt Russell, Julianne Moore, and Gary Oldman, and was scripted by August Osage County writer Tracy Letts.

The only thing I want Amy Adams to look out the window for is a new agent.

feels like the movies trying to gaslight you the whole time and at some points it kinda works too? kinda a slow start but it picks up later before slowing back down and then really going wild at the climax. also crazy plot twist lol
Sometimes a stellar cast is needed to keep the audience's attention. The idea seems great on paper but this is 100% that 'sometime'. Aside from the crazy casting, every other aspect felt disjointed and poorly executed throughout the entirely repetitive 1hr 40m runtime. The plot is slow and choppy,…

an absolutely mind bang. this movie made me feel like i was high and drunk at the same time. the twists were crazy and the plot was wild. the acting is very good, and the cinematography is next level.
Only watch this film if you want to get angry at the main characters while simultaneously having no clue wtf is going on. Im convinced this all star cast got handed a script by a 12 year old and signed on out of pity. Stupid movie, I’m mad that I watched it
very strong story, although filmed entirely in a house, it had a nice atmospheric mystery. Amy Adams played the role of the agoraphobic woman in an amazing way, who finds herself involved when her neighbor is murdered and from there begins an agonizing adventure, full of suspense, rapid changes of…

It’s not bad I just feel like I’ve seen so many movies with such a similar plot so it just seemed predictable. That might also just be because I watched The Woman in the House Across the Street From the Girl in the Window right before this and it was basically a satircal version of this movie lmfao
most the time you feel like youre going crazy with the main character, not knowing which part of the plot was real or not. it had me on the edge of my seat and the cinematography was amazing. i honestly didnt expect it to come together as good as it did in the end. good watch :)
Omg this was unnecessary SO creepy and scary. Those shots were crazy and fight scene at the end? My friends and I were literally screaming. Acting was good but all the characters were way weirder and scarier in this than the book. I like the show better sorry… this was too wild
