I recently watched THE SUBSTANCE and THE WILD ROBOT. One of them is about how women are forced to subject their bodies to unthinkable horrors in the pursuit of an impossible standard, all while an unforgiving society looks on. The other is THE SUBSTANCE, which has a great…

This will break you, and if it doesn’t you’re soulless. One of most beautiful animated films to come out in recent time and a timeless story about nurture vs nature and the complexity of motherhood.
this is the first movie that made me BALL. it’s so good. it’s not what you would expect but it’s amazing.

I am honestly in awe from the amount of love everyone at DreamWorks has put into this film. Every frame on the screen looks like wondrous watercolor painting. The story of the complexities of parenthood, belonging and identity brought me to tears in ways that I don’t regret getting emotional for.…
HEY so that was my favorite animated movie ever I think… So many deep lessons about parenthood, love, letting go, etc. Held back tears maybe the entire time. Just such a beautiful movie, the visuals are out of this world, ur jaw drops multiple times as u figure out more and more!

Both Transformers One and this movie came out at the same time. A battle between the autobots. Unlike Transformers, this feels a lot more like a setup for bigger and better sequels. I don't have an issue with it but I found myself asking when the climax would hit, or when it would end even. Apart…
wild robot? more like rudolph ripoff… can’t tell if i’m just old or kids movies really have gone down in quality… opening scenes were promising but imo this movie failed to prove u can teach things to kids without using a bland, overly on the nose story (ex. studio ghibli)

A tear jerker and amazing
Wild Robot was a pleasant surprise. I enjoyed every aspect of the film, from the animation and voice acting to the heartwarming story. It's simple, yet touching—a message that resonates in today's world. Perfect for a family night.

It's a very easy story to accept, but the ease of the storytelling allows the message to penetrate and gives rise to thoughtfulness about how we can be better to those around us. Quite simply, this film allows us to want to be better than who we are.
The Wild Robot proves to be one of the best animated features to emerge from the American studios post-pandemic and even approaches Miyazki’s (alleged) swansong, The Boy and the Heron, in blending artistry with entertainment value.
Clever, heartfelt and frequently stunning, The Wild Robot offers the type of all-ages-welcome animated entertainment that will delight kids and leave a lump in one’s throat.
