Synopsis
Harry's dead and, while no one really minds, everyone feels responsible. After Harry's body is found in the woods, several locals must determine not only how and why he was killed but what to do with the body.

Underrated Hitchcock banger from the mid 50s. The dynamic of 4 characters is amazing & the chemistry between them is great. Colour grading & score is great. The plot of having a black comedy centred around a corpse is genius & perfect for Hitchcock. Truly not talked about enough

It is not a particularly witty or clever script that John Michael Hayes has put together from a novel by Jack Trevor Story, nor does Mr. Hitchcock's direction make it spin. The pace is leisurely, almost sluggish, and the humor frequently is strained. But it does possess mild and mellow merriment all along the way.
