Great time. Get there early for new stop motion content. Had a great time watching this in the theater for the first time with my son who never had a chance to see it in theaters before. Make sure your kids learn about the cybertronian wars of 2005. They aren’t teaching this in schools. If you don’t learn from history, it will only be repeated!!!!
Like being a kid again watching giant robots fight!
I can recite this movie from memory, I've seen it so many times... but this was the first time I got to see it in theaters and it was worth the experience.
An amazing blast from the past. You absolutely could not be more 1980s than this and the great visuals and soundtrack make it a joy to watch even if the plot is a little thin.
Watched it on home media many times but nothing compares to watching it on the big screen with great sound. Still holds up well today, great animation and soundtrack!
Brought my 13 year old daughter to see it. We both enjoyed it (I saw it in person as a kid the first time). Theater was AMAZING! Comfortable seats, reasonable concession prices. But most importantly it was great to see the movie back on a big screen after all these years! THANKS!!
I had an awesome time! I got to share the GOOD Transformers movie with the Michael Bay generation.
Must get there 10-15 minutes early to see the new movie related shorts created in 2021 for this Event
The only disappointment they had no posters.
It was awesome to see it together with my kids at the movie theater. We drove for 1.5 hrs to see it. Totally worth it. Unfortunately for us the venue it showed at had a snafu and we ended up watching Carrie first about 5 min before they shut it off. I tell you some parents were pretty mad. Naked girls in the locker room showering?..yeah not great family fun. Yikes! What happened there. However, it was fixed pretty quickly and we did get to see our movie "Transformers!"
I saw it when it first came out 1986.I was 17 at the time . Went to see it again 35 years later for it's 35th anniversary. This movie never gets even though it's old. But worth seeing it on the big screen again.
The movie itself is fantastic as it was in '86 when I saw it the first time. however, there are a few scenes that have been cut short. the battle between Optimus and Megatron specifically has been cut short.
So awesome to see on the big screen!
The movie was absolutly amazing, my only issue was in the middle of Unicrons transformation to robot mode, the screen cut out and the lights went back on for like 5-10 min, then after when they finally turned it back on, they did not rewind to where it was, making us miss most of the final battle. the movie itself was wonderful, like my childhood reborn
Had a great time and meet some good people. Only wish the volume was turned up.
Had a great time watching some cheesy 80’s animation with my son. Some of the best animation that Transformers produced back than. Awesome soundtrack and amazing voice cast. Great popcorn movie.
Great opportunity to take my kids to see a movie I loved when I was their age.
My son loved it, just like i did as a kid. I sincerely hope that you continue reshowing older movies like this one. We will definitely be repeat customers if you do.
Great seeing this in a theatre again after 35 years. This was a lot of fun, really took me back to the spectacle the movie was in the 80s.
Fantastic nostalgia! As great today as 35 years ago on the big screen! The wide-screen cut they used wasn't the best, but still wonderful to view with such a dynamic sound system. Because, you got the Touch . . .
Never get tired of seeing this with my son.
For a 35th anniversary, there should have been more content like the previous time it played in theaters.
Had a fantastic time and was able to share this experience with a new generation.
Loved it! It was a great experience to share with my son. I hope there will be more to come!
35 years later and still good. I love being able sit there and still quote the movie. The 3 shorts they had prior to the movie were awesome.
Great to see. Like I was 8 years old again!
I’ve loved this movie since the original release. Despite what anyone says I’ve never outgrown G1 Transformers, and this movie holds a special place in my heart. So great to see this on the big screen!
Took me back to my childhood!
Theater did not do movie justice. Why no Hidef?? Or surround sound?? Ruined a great movie.
I saw this in the theater when it originally came out in 1986 as a young teenager. I loved it then, and I love it now. Plus I enjoyed that it was the exact same version that I saw originally. The DVD release has been edited to censor it, which I found a bit upsetting.
I grew up watching this movie at home on VHS. So glad that I was finally able to see it in theaters. It was great to see on the big screen.
Was awesome to bring the family to see it for their first time. Still watch it to this day since the 80's
The movie looked great and it was exciting to see it on a big screen with my son. However the sound was TERRIBLE. There was absolutely no surround sound, and the only sound was very low volume from behind the screen. The theater manager said their system was working, and that was how the movie was sent to them. While my son was excited the fact that I have better sound from my soundbar at home and the volume was so low was a huge let down.
