Atom User Reviews for The Ten Commandments 65th Anniversary presented by TCM
Absolutely one of the best movies ever made, with an all star cast! With all the modern technology, nothing can top this movie. Excellent....
Hollywood doesn't have the ability to do better.
Truly a masterpiece
Have seen on TV many times. Does not do this movie justice. Definitely must-see on the big screen to be fully appreciated!
Grateful it was brought back to the big screen, LET’S SEE MORE!!!
I’m so happy they brought this to the big screen!! Absolutely loved it. We watch it every year, brought my dad and he loved it!
This is one for history books. Home viewing just can't do it justice. The story of Moses and the 10 Commandments, told without the benefit of CGI. Strictly special camera effects. Theatrical, yes, and somewhat corny but also stirring and engaging. Everything that you want in an epic . . . and Yul Brynner, shirtless!
I first saw The Ten Commandments as a 5-year-old, in a theater in NYC when it was released. This is only the second time I have seen it in a theater since, though I have, and will continue, to see it again and again. Still has a WOW factor. While there are embellishments, of course, it is absolutely inspiring. Wonderful.
Thought we’d see this movie in at least 1080p, but it was more like watching it on a color television from the 70’s! The movie itself was excellent, but the resolution was terrible, especially with a blu-ray edition already out and a 4K edition soon to be released (March 30th). It was great to see it on the big screen, but seriously, any quality home theater would look better than this did for $42! Only 2 stars for the quality of the picture, NOT the movies.
one of my all time favorites
there were a few "glitches " but that was the technology at the time. I can easily forgive that for the overall pageantry of the overall story.
Amazing how awesome the movie is considering it was released 65 years ago!!!
Haven’t seen this since I was twelve. Never thought I would have the opportunity to ever see it again on the big screen. Got all choked up ..
Great on big screen
Movie was great but screen was too small.
