The Movie was Awesome, definitely seeing it again

Great animation for the film, but the plot is really bad. Like, cobbled together, hoping adults will see it for the references. Jokes fall flat, Seth Rogan made people laugh once or twice, but that’s about it. PARENTS BEWARE, it’s gonna be a long hour and a half.

Bottom line it was super, would come back to watch it again and again and again

It was fun in its simplest form. It was the perfect mix of humor, action, and nostalgia. Definitely a movie to be shared. The animation was great too!

Fun references but a really bad generic movie despite that. Its very generic and lazy. Go see DND or John Wick instead

Thoroughly enjoyed this movie. It was such a fun, exciting and enjoyable ride from start to finish. I have zero complaints and loved that they connected all the different Mario and Luigi games and characters into one cohesive storyline. Definitely would watch again. Will it win an Oscar? Nope! Will it entertain the heck out of you if you're a Mario fan? YES!

Wonderful movie for all Nintendo fans of all ages. Pleasantly surprised with the lack of political agendas as seen in previous “kids” films of the past several years. Breath of FUN fresh air Super Mario Brothers Movie!

some spoilers...was an epic movie visually and had a cute clean storyline, the only thing that was negative to me was the blue flame and the suicidal ideation, and I could see some having issues with the idea of forced marriage, but to me, that is an integral part of Mario Bros. overall it is a clean bright and dynamic movie with very few drawbacks or inappropriate storylines. good clean epic adventure with a healthy side of brotherly love!

camera work and design was great, not the biggest fan of the casting except for Jack black who did great!

I loved it 10/10 supper recommended its funny ,family friendly and great animation. I loved that they had little references to the old Mario Nintendo games I grew up playing. totally brought back memories of me and my siblings fighting over the Nintendo

This movie was phenomenal. Wholesome fun for the whole family. I went with my 5 year old and we both had a blast. This movie was so good I took the time to rate it. 10 out of 10.

Not for me

Phantasmagoric hellscapes with tons of pointless violence and death. Not for me. But I see why others might enjoy it, and I have no problem with that.

Those less enthralled by the antics of the moustachioed Italian plumber will wonder which of Donkey Kong’s weaponised barrels this joyless, noisy mess was scraped from.

Since the 1980s, Nintendo has built its reputation on gleeful, ingenious entertainment that delights in design. Conversely, The Super Mario Bros. Movie is empty-calorie, time-filling amusement for the school holidays. In other words, a licence to print money.

As The Super Mario Bros. Movie progresses, it’s hobbled by a perfunctory plot and some lazy creative choices.
