Trying to get through each new chapter of The Strangers is the true one battle after another.

I don’t think Madelaine Petsch has ever touched tap water in her life.

StoneSep 22, 2025The scariest part of the movie is the post-credits trailer of Chapter 3 that promises it's coming soon.

After all that this girl has gone through, that manicure is still pristine, flawless and zero chips. Must be a shellac!

Celebrity appearance of pumbaa was not expected walking in.
Absolutely unnecessary. Did not add anything to the story. Wasted time.

i actually got kind of frustrated that she literally couldn’t catch a break 😭 the wild boar scene was cool but my GOD she was being hunted x4!!!
I don’t careeee, this was fun, energetic, genuinely scary at parts, anxiety inducing, and Madelaine Petsch is SO FREAKING GOOD. The only reason this isn’t a love is the unnecessary flashbacks, some cheap looking visuals at part, and that absolutely ridiculous boar attack scene💀

it was alright, i liked it but could’ve been done better. my boyfriend however, hated it. i do agree that the ending sucked. the beginning also sucked and jumped into the violence way too quick.
This was definitely better than the first one!! It had a lot more jumpscares and leans more towards the action side of things while still following a storyline! 100/10 I would watch again

Straight trash
Definely better than the first one and with a surprise twist.... A THIRD PART lol
Metacritic
The Strangers: Chapter 2' is an improvement on 'The Strangers: Chapter 1.' Then again, a moderate case of food poisoning is an improvement on a severe one.
The story is both simplistic and telegraphed, which is handy because some startlingly inept filmmaking makes the action almost impossible to follow. There are multiple sequences that make no sense to the eye or brain, and basic design and costume decisions that make it nearly impossible to tell characters apart from each other. The only true horror here is that there’s another couple of hours of this still to come.
