My son and I walked out within 30 minutes. That’s how bad it was. I am requesting a refund.

It’s a snooze fest and the jokes are definitely for teens or adults but not for kids

Animation is very different. Not that good

A long episode of SpongeBob and not a good one. I think I laughed maybe 4 times. Great time killer if you’re with your little ones. I grew up on SpongeBob so I’m pretty disappointed

Kids will love it for sure!! If you love SpongeBob- you’ll love this movie. Definitely a fan movie 😊 My teen loved it.

The movie was alright. Feels like a Sunday morning kind of movie. I gave it a 3 star because it feels like it was missing something.

thought we were in the wrong theater. The first 15 minutes is a stupid short of Ninja Turtles. after 45 minutes of the short and previews the movie finally started. The TV cartoons are much better. very disappointed.

Corny but fun definitely not like the original SpongeBob personality wise (instead of letting the character be themselves they’re trying to connect with gen Z slang. Kinddda awkward)

Truly thought I’d enjoy the movie since I grew up with SpongeBob, and it just wasn’t entertaining. My 16 year old was bored as well. This movie was a flop.

Personally as an adult I could not stay awake it was boring but it was okay besides I watched it for my kid.

If you just want a dumb film to kill time (and if you’re a SpongeBob fan), this is a great option. If you’re expecting a great movie to watch… you’ll be disappointed, to say the least.

Brought my 9yo son to see it. Lots of silliness and butt jokes that he found hilarious. As someone who grew up watching SpongeBob, I appreciated them keeping SpongeBob completely random and innocent. Good way to spend time laughing with your kids

Nothing really changed or improved SpongeBob's maturity over time but I like it because I guess it teaches others to accept who you really are instead of having to improve for others you're strong
