Holly-BethDec 14, 2017I don’t understand how you could cast Jeff Goldblum in this movie without making him the voice of God

“Prince of Egypt” is a failure in major areas, but is breathtaking in others. It is a good start for DreamWorks, but they’ll have to try harder to eclipse the Mouse House.

6 This movie is perfect. Every single freeze frame of this movie is an absolute work of art. The character’s emotions are so real and so captivating, and it’s heartbreaking to see the brother’s relationship fall. The music is amazing and it perfectly captures the real Bible story

Much of the animation is stunning and all of the vocal performances are good to great. It's just much of the passion seems to be in not stepping on anyone's beliefs or interpretations, instead of in telling the story in the most compelling way possible.
Certainly spectacular -- an elaborately designed combination of animation and computer-generated imagery -- but at times it's a spectacular bore.
