Why did Saul Goodman tell the flight attendant he had government secrets on the plane? Is he stupid?

this was just regular oscar bait until the last 45 seconds set up a sequel about watergate as if this were the new and improved Cinematic Universe and it's genuinely one of the most jarring things i've seen this year so far. if spielberg wants to direct a marvel movie that…
cinéfila... 🕯️Dec 6, 2017There’s topical, there’s timely, and then there’s “The Post,” which feels less like a historical thriller set in 1971 than it does an exhilarating caricature of the year 2017. While Steven Spielberg’s latest film rivetingly dramatizes the publication of the Pentagon Papers…

Double duty as a classic Spielberg old man movie and a calculated hot take. SPOTLIGHT but directed by one of the greatest born filmmakers currently working.
matt lynchFeb 9, 2018I loooooooove how this was shot and the overall look and style of it. I don’t know man, wasn’t expecting much but I ended up really enjoying it. Briefly forgot how good Spielberg is at what he does.

A+ movie in my book. Incredible cast led by Meryl Streep and Tom Hanks. Brilliant writing and a crazy true story that hits so many important issues
As the film brings back a bit of faith towards humanity, you start to wonder if it’s oversimplifying the matter. While it is, indeed, a complicated issue, the point of the film is just that. Sometimes it’s not that complicated. Sometimes we simply need to ask ourselves what is the right thing to do…

Man. This movie is almost ten years old and we're still dealing with the guy it was made to rebuke. Anyways, great film. Streep and Hanks are amazing on screen together. Surprisingly energetic considering what the topic is.
Incredible! Based on a true story, I watched it both through the eyes of the 70s (I’m old enough to remember Vietnam War protests) as well as today when the press plays a very different role. Fascinating & highly recommend.

A little slow, especially when you're not American and you're trying to understand the historical context of the event portrayed. Otherwise it's a great job.
J'ai regardé en cours donc j'ai pas trop capté l'histoire mais de ce que j'ai compris c'était sympathique.

Solid movie but not the masterpiece I was expecting. It felt like it could have been more suspenseful than it was.
MLmichael librettoGood movie. Great performances.
NWNathan WalkerThis movie blew our expectations out of the water. Streep and Hanks were at their highest caliber. A big shout out to Bob Odenkirk for his portrayal without fallling into his typecast sleazy nature. Great slice of our mindedness history felt with tastefully.

Meryl Streep caught me off guard with her acting. i had to keep reminding myself she was playing a woman working in a man's world. also not enough Zachary Woods... loved him on silicone valley..
LALynz Anne-CorinneI can see why this got nominated. Meryl Streep does a great job, but I would argue that Tom Hanks steals the show (or maybe I'm just partial to Tom Hanks). A feq things could have been better, but overall it was interesting and exciting and really well filmed.
SSSebastian SinisterraA perfectly structured film with a concrete story. Overall a great watch
