Atom User Reviews for The Pope's Exorcist
to know this is based on true events and from the priest's own books, makes this movie that more scary
The Good will always triumph. It’s great to see something that makes you feel good because God will always triumph . That’s the reason I don’t believe in paid movie critics .
Great movie really enjoyed it!
Great movie, just the end could’ve been a little better
I miss Russell Crowe! So good to see him, looked like he had a lot of fun playing Father Amorth. The movie is pretty standard for this sub-genre of exorcist horror stories, but elevated by Crowe’s gusto. Also, Franco Nero as the Pope was a great touch! 🤌🏻
The book are good!
Catholic propaganda with church history involved in the film. It was alright. Should have gone to see John wick instead lol
Is alright. At least it keep you awake. Lol
I loved it
way too much in my opinion, especially people who believe in religion.
From a horror movie standpoint it hits home. A d considering a was just thinking about prayers and what not. Then going to see this. It came full circle.
excellent movie
This was a fantastic movie!?

Absolutly love the movie!!!!!
Boring
didn't know a thing about this going into the movie, was a pleasant surprise definitely worth a watch
it's better than most scary movies .
This movie was funny, serious, and terrifying exactly when it should have been. Excellent cast, and I’d like to see a sequel.
Great movie, wasn't as scary as I thought would be, but I was really enjoyable.
Russell Crowe never disappoints.
Was incredible
Metacritic
The Pope's Exorcist is by no means a good movie, but there's a modicum of fun to be had from watching Crowe do his thing. And if you have a problem with him, you can take it up with his boss — the Pope!
It allows Crowe to have fun with the part of Father Amorth, but the film forgets to have fun along with him.
Crowe seems to impose his own sense of fun on the proceedings, which gives it a light touch even when it should have fear-for-the-victims’ lives gravitas.
