ninaOct 12, 2023I just know everyone in the audience in 1945 was blown away when it revealed Dorian Gray's portrait and it was in color. I mean, even 80 years after its release, I was impressed by that.

Extremely creepy and holds up ridiculously well for a film nearly in its 80s. Imagery and cinematography is fantastic and is easily the films best part. Good performances and a very well structured film. One of the best horror films of the 40s

Brilliant dialogue, theming, and use of color. The cinematography and score work together to make this adaptation of Oscar Wilde’s novel an eerie and suspenseful masterpiece.
I actually really liked this but I wish it went into more detail about his deeds. The acting was great and I love Ms Angela Lansbury 😝
