    Shades of Hundreds of a Beavers but with crabs and pirates. Really fun stuff here, blows most of the big features at SXSW out of the water.

    VIFF 2026 #3 Vancity 2026-10-02 14:00 Loved the lo fi, caracatured aesthetic here. The absurdist humour was also great. And of course the folley art. There was a real Waiting for Godot feel to this by centring on the often forgotten sound department. Bonus points for…

    Really cute! It looks phenomenal, and the score is great. The writing kinda lost me tho, especially because the humour falls flat a lot of the time for me. I was gonna say it felt like a lot of weak improv, which made more sense upon finding out most of the dialogue is…
