Great movie but not watching it again, way too scary. If you ever watch it don’t watch it alone bring a bible, holy water, priest, a cross, the pope, and the blood of christ. Good luck!

The movie wasn't very scary. A few scary parts but definitely not what I expected. I would recommend waiting until it comes out on Blue Ray or digital.

It's not that scary, and it felt like a throw away movie that didn't make much sense.

Was a little boring and slow, but still an average movie.

Eh. Had they not said it was the scariest from this universe, I would’ve liked it more(ish). Story lacked essence. Over hyped man definitely not the scariest one.

A creepy twist in the Conjuring Universe

The story line was horrible and a complete joke. Sometimes it was so comical I could not tell if I was watching a horror movie or a scene from the Scary Movie parody franchise.

Really a 2.5....me and my queen saw this and after the movie we just felt......empty. We were disappointed...all they did was had jump scene to cover up how horrible the storyline was...

it was an ok movie. it isn't at all what they made it out to be. it wasn't scary at all. definitely not worth spending your money to see it in theaters.

It was so lame and predictable. In every “scary” movie there’s a scene where there’s a sound or a shadow and the person goes after it. Story is old. Always good bs bad. Devil vs. god. Heaven or hell. Wack film.

The movie is overhyped. Compared to the first two (conjuring movies) it was bad. The acting wasn’t so great kinda boring.

Holy mother of god..! Great movie and a prequel to an amazing series. Ties everything together back to the very beginning. Scared to go to sleep, but so very worth it.
