Great movie but not watching it again, way too scary. If you ever watch it don’t watch it alone bring a bible, holy water, priest, a cross, the pope, and the blood of christ. Good luck!

The movie wasn't very scary. A few scary parts but definitely not what I expected. I would recommend waiting until it comes out on Blue Ray or digital.

Not gripping and everything is predictable !!! Nothing scary and interesting as the previous ones🙆🏻‍♂️

It's not that scary, and it felt like a throw away movie that didn't make much sense.

Was a little boring and slow, but still an average movie.

Eh. Had they not said it was the scariest from this universe, I would’ve liked it more(ish). Story lacked essence. Over hyped man definitely not the scariest one.

I read reviews that said this movie had no real plot, actually the plot was quite evident. Also the story is very easy to follow. The jump scares with these types of movies are slightly cliche, and at times predictable. Even with that being said this was still a terrific movie with a great setting, cast, as well as a operable story line that can be continued!

it was an ok movie. it isn't at all what they made it out to be. it wasn't scary at all. definitely not worth spending your money to see it in theaters.

The story line was horrible and a complete joke. Sometimes it was so comical I could not tell if I was watching a horror movie or a scene from the Scary Movie parody franchise.

Really a 2.5....me and my queen saw this and after the movie we just felt......empty. We were disappointed...all they did was had jump scene to cover up how horrible the storyline was...

It was so lame and predictable. In every “scary” movie there’s a scene where there’s a sound or a shadow and the person goes after it. Story is old. Always good bs bad. Devil vs. god. Heaven or hell. Wack film.

It’s the prequel to the Conjuring and it all makes sense now

It was actually a lot better than I thought it would be. It reminded me of the omen while still sticking to the story when she was mentioned in the conjuring. Overall good actors and good story. Some jump scares are predictable but others come out of no where. Does a good job of keeping a creepy vibe throughout the movie without spoiling it.

If The Nun leaves a haunting impression, it’s of a missed opportunity to capitalise upon a visually distinctive antagonist within an existing hit series. The end result feels like an exercise in joining obvious franchise dots and paving the way for future films.

It’s sludgy, and kind of random, and if you already know you’ll enjoy it anyway, you undoubtedly will.
