Very fun watch and informative at the same time
Very fun movie. Not even as much profanity or hyper-violence as a typical PG-13 war movie. No overt nudity or even a sex scene. My wife and I loved the cast, story, and action. There's even plenty of heart. Not an Oscar contender but it isn't made to be one either.
Metacritic
It’s all in good fun, if a little shallow.

To Ritchie’s credit, he keeps his film moving along at a consistently brisk clip, but that breeziness is also the cause of its weightlessness, rendering its vision of historical events as outright cartoonish, down to the often clownish portrayals of Nazis and the flawless execution of nearly every element of March-Phillips’s plans.

The lapses in logic and anachronistic hardware, pistols that never miss and the like might make the historically-minded cringe. But if you like your commando raids bloody and bloody fun (at times), The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare more or less fills the bill.
