Powerful! Superb acting from some of the best in the business. They will be performing this 50 years from now. It is timeless.
This is an opera inspired by a great book (actually two great books) and a great movie. It is incredibly moving. The music, the words, the voices made a whole that no one of them could do by itself. So strong, so sad, so human. Thanks.
Wonderful performance! Very touching, tragedy, talented! Amazing voices, actor work, dancing, orchestra!!!
I have been to many operas. This was exceptional!
Left at intermission.
Glad I saw it ONCE!
Moving and beautifully done. Kudos to all.
This was an amazing performance, something anyone will be happy they saw.
Very confusing story, wasted energy of wonderful artists, mixing individual psychiatric issues with boring day to day smalltalk
Amazing music, amazing cast, heartbreaking, especially the final trio. See it if you can.
Great, for a modern opera. The libretto is good, but the lack of any memorable arias or melodies makes brings it down a notch.
Magnificent comeback for Renee Fleming alongside all star cast!
Music, story, performances, staging all stellar.
Transporting!
Well done and moving.
Too complex of a story line for the opera stage. Not my favorite performance although t it was a well done on the Met’s pert
The presentation was phenomenal! Acting great, staging fantastic, music extraordinary, So creative and thought provoking! Thank you for putting this on the screen.
Joyce DiDonato is my favorite!!!
The score and the orchestra are phenomenal. And all of sudden early in the second act, a light bulb came on regarding the story line. There is a moving male experience embedded in the life of each woman.
