The cast, music and production were all outstanding but… Mother Nature interrupted the HD LIVE transmission multiple times during the performance most during the duets. Hah! Fortunately, little was lost and there was never a full blackout. Phew!! Bravo to all the people who brought this beautiful production to the MetOpera stage.

Horrible experience at AMC 25 in New York. No sound from halfway through the intermission to halfway through the second act. It’s an opera! Hearing it is the point, and this qualified as a major event. And they don’t know when to turn the house lights on and off.
