This is a powerful opera. Well worth watching. The staging is very effective and the music by Terence Blanchard is superb. Not to be missed.

I loved this opera and the cast. BUT, the transmission was lost minutes before the end and it was VERY disappointing!

I love live theater and opera, but without this HD encore presentation, I would not have been able to see this groundbreaking production. The cast was superb, the music was lush. I look forward to seeing more live theater this way.

A moving opera. The behind the scenes and audience views made it even more special. Grateful for the opportunity so far away from NYC.
