A MAGICAL OPERA RUINED BY UGLY, CONTRIVED COSTUMING, STAGING AND LGHTING. LEFT AFTER FIRST ACT. THE WORST!
An intriguing and creative way to integrate multiple art forms.
I disliked the Met putting this opera on a modern setting. I left after Act 1. Alas poor Mozart they injured your legacy
The minimalist settings helped emphasize the singing which was just phenomenal. Everyone did a great job.
Simon McBurney's production of the Magic Flute is full of amazing performances, great storytelling and technical surprises. Three and a half hours well spent.
I have seen 4 productions of this great opera and this was the most imaginative one ever. Bravo
Fantastic production. Great performances by all at stage.
