Atom User Reviews for The Man in the White Van
A little slow to start, but once it gets moving, it's a hell of a ride. Also, serious kudos for making a film set in the 1970s look and feel like a 1970s movie (in the best way possible)!! Could have done with a little less sound effects, if only because the film would have still conveyed the same sense of suspense and tension without them. But overall, well worth a watch!
The review SA left is spot on. Pleasantly surprised with an ending I did not expect!
It’s one of those movies that you’d have to see at least once in order to fully realize that there are hidden monsters in our society. The story is gripping, both the characters and the writing are believably on-edge, the editing is well-effective, the cinematography is shadowed with terrorizing dark moments, and the music is startling at times. It brought chills down by my spine!
Really felt like it pulled you back into the 70’s family life. And the way the story is told by the director and cast adds a lot of suspense you can relate to.
always believe the middle child! now I know why I grew up being told not to go near white vans
We saw the premier in Sarasota, FL and went to a local Orlando theater to watch it again. It's that good. Atom Ticket sales helped.
