While it’s not necessarily magnificent and is basically your typical western, I had a great time watching this and bonding with my dad. I’m going off to college in a few days so I really enjoyed spending the time with him. 7/10
James New likedThe Magnificent SevenThe best word to describe it is fun. An all-time score by Elmer Bernstein. Imagery is fantastic and the fight scenes are great. I would say ‘Seven Samurai’ is still better (since this is technically a remake) but this has the bonus of being an extra 1.5 hours shorter than 7S
