Watched last night. Better than the first the pace picks up a little bit. Gollum is a god damn crack feen for that ring man, guy creeps me out. Epic battle at the end, when Gandalf the white shows up I got a little bricked up ngl. Frodo Baggins still sounds like puss boi tho.
MK likedThe Lord of the Rings: The Two TowersThis movie was truly spectacular. It has awesome action and suspense. It is one of the best action and adventure films of all time.
Clay Werner lovedThe Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers9.5 - not quite on the level of FotR but still epic. The sets, costuming, makeup, effects, & score are all as amazing. The battle of Helm’s Deep is one of the greatest battle sequences I have ever seen. Amazing how 4 hours can fly when you’re totally immersed.

How can a director reach this level of excellence making 4 hours feel like air. Mind blowing man, so much better than the first. I see now what the hype is all about. Gave me a glimpse of the masterpiece GOT, god I miss it so much.
zxki lovedThe Lord of the Rings: The Two TowersThere's zero doubt in my mind that Peter Jackson and J.R.R Tolkien were pure geniuses at work. The world and character-building is colossal, I can only imagine how saturated the books are. I'd honestly call it 4 hours too short. Each movie in the trilogy is cut and stitched together with so much…
Thebluemonkey69 lovedThe Lord of the Rings: The Two TowersMuch better than the first it is overly long and the plot doesn’t work if you haven’t watched the first it’s a bit to reliant on fellowship but everything is better characters story pacing and it has one the best final battles in a movie great movie 8.8/10

Mikey likedThe Lord of the Rings: The Two TowersThe Gandalf storyline makes no sense to me. The rest of the movie is really good. Gollum is a tweaker.
Chris Naj likedThe Lord of the Rings: The Two TowersThe end of the movie’s last battle is still one of the most beautiful scenes in film history, IMO.

God forbid this should ever play on an IMAX screen -- the concussive soundtrack and relentless visuals would likely strike viewers deaf and blind (but what a way to go!). Simply breathtaking.
