LucyDec 11, 2018Everybody made fun of the bed scene but I think it’s nice to see men hug. They just destroyed the one ring, grow up.

One of the greatest films of all time. This is the masterful culmination of an absolutely perfect trilogy. There’s a reason why this film won 11 Oscars. It’s more than just a movie. It’s an unforgettable emotional experience. There’s nothing more I can say that hasn’t been said
10.0 - 2nd perfect score out of this nearly perfect trilogy. Everything done right over the last 2 films is done again. Every acting performance is flawless. Score, sound, makeup, sets, costumes, writing, battle choreo - all perfect. Best adaptations ever. Best trilogy ever. A++
Fantastic conclusion to a great trilogy, high stakes, great action, and I really love Sam’s character, maybe even more than Frodo. The Aragon, Legolas and Gimli trio are so badass as well. This trilogy was a lot of fun, so ahead of it’s time and I’m sad to see it end.

I can't feel anything down below man 😭. I guess Elijah did wear a wig after all. All of that for the prrreciouss🧌.
My favorite movie of all time, with the greatest story and soundtrack ever.

Okay fine. FINE! LOTR is the greatest movie trilogy of all time. Return of the king wraps it up to perfection. Samwise Gamgee is the epitome of honor and deserves free drinks every time he enters a bar. This is CINEMA and I’m embarrassed to have waited this long to experience it.
The Return Of The King ultimately proves up to the series' increasingly difficult task: making movies that echo legends, making legends that reflect life, and reconciling it all with the fact that both legends and lives all eventually meet their ends.

One of the most epic and incredible films of our generation!
Pretty good.
Metacritic
The conclusion of Peter Jackson's masterwork is passionate and literate, detailed and expansive, and it's conceived with a risk-taking flair for old-fashioned movie magic at its most precious.
The second installment was better than the first, and this one is best of all. It has spectacular action scenes and imaginary creatures, and it’s by far the most moving chapter. The performances have deepened.
